Filmul este bazat pe personajul fictiv creat de Marvel, va fi regizat de Louis Leterrier si ii va avea in rolurile principale pe Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth si William Hurt. Aventura exploziva si plina de actiune din una din cele mai celebre povesti cu supereroi din toate timpurile incepe cu un leac pentru cea mai puternica forta provocata de furie din lume: Incredibilul Hulk. Il gasim pe cercetatorul Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) traind in umbra, hoinarind prin lume in cautarea antidotului. Dar cei care viseaza sa profite de puterea lui nu-l lasa in pace, dar nici nevoia lui de a fi cu singura femeie pe care a iubit-o vreodata, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler).
La intoarcerea sa in civilizatie, doctorul este urmarit de Abominaie (Tim Roth), o bestie parca din cosmaruri ale carei puteri sunt asemenea celor ale lui Hulk. O lupta de proportii epice incepe iar Banner trebuie sa-l trezeasca pe eroul din el pentru a preveni distrugerea totala a orasului New York.
